High-Quality Corrosion-Resistant Tinplate Coil

High-Quality Corrosion-Resistant Tinplate Coil

Tinplate coils are cold-rolled steel electrolytically coated with pure tin (Sn ≥99.9%) in sulfuric acid baths. Our FDA-compliant process applies differential coatings (1.1–11.2 g/m²) using Ferrostan technology, achieving 0.15–1.50 μm thickness with porosity <8 pores/cm². Post-tinning, the coils undergo induction melting (240–260°C) to form FeSn₂ alloy layers for solderability. ISO 11949 DR8-DR12 grades feature controlled aging (24h at 150°C) to stabilize mechanical properties.
