Zinc-iron (Galvanneal) coils combine hot-dip galvanizing with in-line annealing to create a Fe-Zn alloy coating (Γ-phase: Fe3Zn10). The 10–12% iron content improves spot welding performance (electrode life +300%) while maintaining cathodic protection. Our proprietary gas-jet cooling achieves a Vickers hardness gradient from 150 HV (surface) to 220 HV (substrate), balancing formability and dent resistance.
